Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips Paleo-friendly
- Sea salt flakes for topping
Instructions:
Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F
Almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt should all be combined in a large mixing bowl
Beat the egg, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil in a different bowl
Once a cookie dough forms, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir
Add the dark chocolate chips and stir
Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet
Spoon dough into tablespoon-sized pieces and space them apart on the baking sheet
Using the back of a fork, slightly flatten each cookie before adding sea salt flakes
Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are set
Take them out of the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then move them to a wire rack to cool down completely
