Tuna Sashimi Rice Bowl Tekkadon is a delicious and healthy Japanese dish featuring fresh tuna sashimi served over sushi rice, complemented by soy sauce, sesame oil, and other flavorful ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 lb fresh tuna, sashimi grade
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice
Melt the sugar, salt, and rice vinegar in a small saucepan over low heat
Mix into rice thats already cooked
Put thin slices of tuna on top of the rice in a bowl
Put soy sauce and sesame oil on top of the tuna
Toast the green onions and add the grated ginger on top
Arrange thin slices of cucumber and avocado around the tuna
Add sesame seeds as a garnish
Serve right away
