Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper
Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane from the back and trimming excess fat
Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs, ensuring an even coating
Wrap the seasoned ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for better flavor absorption
Preheat your smoker to 225F 107C using your choice of wood chips or chunks for smoke flavor
Place the ribs on the smoker grates and smoke for approximately 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches around 190F 88C
During the last 30 minutes, you can optionally brush the ribs with your favorite barbecue sauce for a sticky glaze
Once done, let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving
Enjoy your deliciously smoked brown sugar rib creation
